Earn your college degree and so much more

Are you eager to pursue your college degree while being commissioned through an ROTC program? If so, you should join the Department of Military Science at Arizona State University. We welcome Cadets at all stages of life, from prospective high school students and current college students to members of the National Guard or Reserve Component and Active Duty Soldiers. Eligibility criteria may vary based on your classification.

Our Army ROTC program in the Department of Military Science at Arizona State University is only as strong as our cadre and staff. That’s why we employ only the highest qualified commanders, instructors and recruiters to mentor our cadets and develop successful leaders. Our team collectively represents more than 200 years of military service and has the capability to prepare confident Second Lieutenants in the U.S. Army, who always abide by the values of loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity and personal courage.

The Army Reserve Officer Training Corps program in the Department of Military Science at Arizona State University recruits, educates and trains cadets to become leaders who are committed to the values of the United States Army. As one of the top leadership programs and largest Battalions in the country, our cadets are prepared to succeed in any competitive environment while dedicating themselves to a lifetime of selfless service to the nation.

Summer Training Opportunities: professional internships, airborne, air assault, combat survival, mountain warfare, and cadet troop leadership training.

Upon becoming Lieutenants, graduates of the Army ROTC program are selected to serve in one of the more than twenty Officer career fields. They assume their duties armed with the superb leadership and managerial skills that have long been the hallmark of the Army ROTC program. From the day they arrive at their first unit of assignment, they shoulder responsibilities that far exceed those routinely entrusted to those in the civilian sector of similar age.

Green-to-Gold Program

The Army Green to Gold program is designed for Active Duty enlisted Soldiers to pursue their Bachelors or Masters degrees and commission through ROTC. Applications are received at the national level, screened for eligibility and boarded by Army officers for selection of the winners. The application deadline for Green to Gold Scholarships is 1 February. The submission deadline for Green to Gold Hip Pocket Scholarships is 1 April.
